Delivery Policy

 

We offer full service delivery Monday through Friday, and Saturday with manager's prior approval.  Sorry we cannot delivery on Sunday.

 

We guarantee same day metro delivery on orders placed by 8:30 AM.

 

Please allow adequate lead times for delivering materials that require special handling.  We do charge an extra fee for these services.  Please contact your contractor salesperson for availability and details.

 

Please add a $1.50 per mile one way, for deliveries out of the metro area.

 

We guarantee a five-day turn around on all properly staged credit return pickups.  After stacking material for return, please contact a salesperson to properly schedule your credit pickup.

 

We reserve the right to charge up to a 20% restocking charge on all returns.  Returns that were originally delivered with a delivery charge or special handling charge will be credited on a picked up basis only.

 

We pride ourselves on going the extra mile for all of our customers.  We will gladly accommodate special requests and work with specific job site constraints, so long as they fall within proper guidelines of safety and common sense.  Please see your contractor salesperson to make any arrangements.

The Gangwer Lumber Company got its start in Guthrie, Okla., in 1946. A local institution, it was purchased by Oklahoma Home Centers, Inc., in 1993.  Although the name may have changed, our commitment to personal service and uncompromising quality has grown with the company. 

Today, Oklahoma Home Centers is fast becoming the preferred builder’s resource servicing quality minded builders in the north OKC metro area.  Our full-service pre-hung door shop, Millwork Department, 37,000-square-foot drive-through lumber warehouse, and our construction services division, OHC Supply, elevate the definition of “service” and set new benchmarks of quality that set the pace for others to follow.

Construction continues on a 21-acre facility south of Guthrie.  The OHC Builder’s Resource Center will house a full-service drive-through lumber yard, a showroom with expanded hardware, millwork, door, window and fireplace lines, and complete professional consultation services.

We’re proud of how our company and our people have grown. But prouder, still, of our belief in the importance of personal commitment.
